Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the peppers and dry them very well.
Toss the whole peppers with olive oil and coarse salt.
Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Look for a deflated appearance and charred blister spots.
Serve immediately while hot.
