Before we get started, fresh or frozen?
Fresh / thawed
Pat dry, season well. These instructions are for fresh thighs.
Frozen solid
No thawing needed. Add 8–10 minutes. Internal temp must hit 165°F.

    Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

    Pat chicken thighs completely dry with a paper towel.

  3. 03

    Rub generously with oil and the Classic BBQ Rub or Lemon Herb seasoning.

    Place skin-side down in the air fryer basket.

  5. 05

    Cook for 10 minutes, then flip to skin-side up.

  6. 06

    Cook for another 10-12 minutes until the skin is crispy and internal temp hits 165°F (74°C).

    Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Meal Prep

Stores 4 days refrigerated. Reheats better than breast because of higher fat content. 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes to re-crisp the skin.
