Air frying fresh sausage patties is quicker and cleaner than pan-frying. For even cooking, create a slight divot in the center before air frying. This guide gives you perfect, juicy sausage in minutes.

  1. 01If using ground sausage, divide into 4 to 6 equal portions. Form into patties about 1/2 inch thick and slightly wider than you want the final patty (they shrink).
  2. 02If using pre-formed patties, they're ready as-is.
  3. 03No oil needed. Sausage has enough fat.
  4. 04Ready for the air fryer.
Make the patties slightly thinner in the center than the edges. Sausage patties dome up during cooking just like burgers. A slight divot in the middle gives you a flat, even patty when it's done.
